ROAD

Exploring the iconic Great Ocean Road is a frequent haunt for local road cyclists. We also have many other local loops behind Anglesea, Torquay and across the Bellarine Peninsula that are ideal to explore on road bikes. We stock bikes from Giant and Focus that are perfect for our scenic and mostly uncrowded roads.

CYCLOCROSS

If we were forced to have one type of bike to ride around our local terrain it would be a CX bike. Period. The gravel roads behind Torquay and throughout the Otways are epic. We are one of the largest stockists of CX bikes in Australia with CX and gravel grinding bikes from Giant, Focus, Niner, Curve and Hettly.

MOUNTAIN

We are blessed with an incredible amount of natural single track on the Surf Coast - often with epic views. The Eumeralla network is within riding distance from Torquay, which extends well beyond Anglesea and Aireys Inlet. Forrest and the You Yangs are also within driving distance for those seeking a bit of variety. We stock a full range of mountain bikes catering to these venues - not to mention being a hub for single speeding in Australia.

One of our fondest memories of growing up was riding our bikes with our friends. It wasn't about training or fitness. It was about having fun. We stock a full range of kids bikes from Specialized and Focus that are perfect for re-kindling that youthful experience.

Bikes are art. Cycling apparel is no different. Gone are the days of poor fitting average apparel. We stock two of Melbourne's leading cycling apparel brands, The Pedla and Maap. Both brands are on the forefront of the cycling apparel renaissance and we're very grateful to be partnering with them at Bike Matters.
