Suspension Services.
Suspension performance gradually declines over time as oil degrades, seals wear, and tolerances drift—often without you noticing. What once felt controlled and responsive slowly becomes harsh, vague, or unpredictable. Regular servicing restores the balance, support, and sensitivity your bike was designed to deliver. At Bike Matters, we focus on Ride Dynamics—precision service that keeps your suspension feeling consistent, predictable, and confidence-inspiring.
When Booking in your bike with Suspension or as a solo unit, you will be asked to provide the serial number in the booking. This is essential to a speedy turnaround as we may have to order seal kits. We pre-order these to have on hand the day of the booking. Please see the Serial Number look up page to find out where to find the information for your unit. Please note, some some Fox Units have a 4 Digit Id code.
Currently Bike Matters is offering the following services in house using all factory seals and recommended oils. We have invested heavily in state of the art tools & have had over 40years of combined industry experience. See below for rundown of procedures. Prices are for Units External of bikes, Removal, cleaning and refitting prices are in the pricing table above.
Suspension Forks
Bushing Calibration $80.00*
*Add-on selection available for all 50 & 200hr fork services.
Our Andreani Bushing Calibration Kit precisely sizes and aligns suspension bushings to reduce internal friction and binding. By restoring correct bushing tolerances, fork movement becomes smoother, more consistent, and free from binding throughout the stroke. This improves small-bump sensitivity, mid-stroke support, and overall chassis control under load. The result is suspension that responds predictably and maintains consistent ride dynamics over time.
50hr Fork lowers and air piston service $120.00
A lower leg service is the bare minimum for suspension maintenance. This service is recommended every 50hrs of riding. This includes condition inspection, clean lower leg assembly, assess bushings for appropriate tension. Replace dust seals, foam rings, and bath oil, general function test on hand dyno.
Fork Wipers cost outline

200hr Fork Factory Service $250.00 - $275.00*

If your fork is 2 years or older this is recommended for you. Everything in a 50hr service plus air spring piston assembly overhaul with new seals, Damper cartridge re-bled with fresh oil. Rockshox kits include Damper seal kits and are installed with full system bleed. Remember you can upgrade to a Full Performance Service that will include a Bushing Calibration (fox / Rockshox) or damper overhaul with seal kit for Fox Forks.
Rear Shocks
Rear Shock 50hr $90.00
An air can service is a basic service for air-sprung rear shocks and replaces all seals within the air can, and the main dust wiper seal. It is recommended at 50hrs of ride time. Appropriate assembly grease re-set air to original psi.

full factory rebuild is a recommended annual service. It is comprehensive and thorough, restoring your shock to like new or better than new performance. Complete breakdown and inspection of shock. Rebuild of damper, including new seals, oil, and nitrogen charge (if applicable). Replacement of all air can seals (if applicable). Replacement of eyelet bushings. Full adjustment check on hand dyno, Pressure & leak test.
